Our approach to leadership development is unique, but intuitive. We start by defining what the managerial competency requirements are – a clear understanding of how high performing leadership is demonstrated in your organization. Ideally through research and data collection, we develop competency behaviors for the leadership role – once defined and clearly articulated we develop a comprehensive, cost effective development program.
This approach can be multi-faceted, developing processes or systems that can help identify this talent early so the company can maximize their return. These systems can be incorporated into a targeted selection process for candidates through a variety of mediums, including comprehensive interview guides and performance evaluations.
Despite the increasing importance of leadership development to business success, organizational processes or job experiences seem to undermine the development of attributes needed for leadership. We ensure that these experiences and organizational processes are clearly linked back to a larger, organizational development mission.
We focus a great deal on self awareness. Today’s exemplary leader must have the ability to be self aware and have tools available that enable that self examination to take place. One of the most unique aspects of our training and development is the incorporation of all this data, learning and training into the creation of an individualized “leadership brand” for the employee using our LEADERSHIP BRANDING METHODOLOGY™ [LBM]. LBM is a program that is centered around emotional intelligence and individual strengths, helping executives create their own personal “brand”. The curriculum follows an evolution from the individual identifying their personal leadership brand, to leading high performing teams, to ultimately leading exemplary organizations.
